The last two French pairs still competing in the women's table of the FIP Rise in Nola lost last night in the quarter-finals.

In the upper part of the table, Carla Touly and Jessica Ginier were unable to do anything against the favorites of the table in Italy: Noemi Aguilar Carillo (69) and Letizia Maria Manquillo (66). The Spanish made short work of the Blues in two sets: 6/3 – 6/1.

On the other side, Charlotte Soubrié and Lucile Pothier underwent the same sport. Opposed to another Iberian pair, Ana Varo Ramos and Lorena Alonso de Lera, seeded number two, the French were unable to do anything and suffered the same fate: a 6/2 – 6/3 defeat.

Joris/Vanbauce for a place in the final

We will therefore not see any French women on the Neapolitan slopes for the last day of this FIP Rise today. However, there remains one last French hope in Nola among the Gentlemen in the person of Joris/Vanbauce. After an exceptional journey this week which saw them win the TS1 then the TS6, the French will try this morning to get their ticket for the final against the Italians Flavio Abbate and Giulio Grazotti.

You can follow the semi-final of Maxime Joris and Thomas Vanbauce in a few dozen minutes on the FIP Youtube channel.
