End of the adventure for the last French representatives in Sweden with the elimination, last night, of  Bastien Blanqué ,  Dylan Guichard  et  Carla Toully  during the quarter-finals.

In the first match, which you were able to follow on Padel MagTV, Bastien Blanqué and Dylan Guichard were opposed to the Spanish pair Daniel Santigosa (167) and Guillermo Collado (171). It was about  seed 8  who we knew was tough because she had knocked out another French pair,  Julien Seurin  et  Philemon Raichman .

There was not really a match in this meeting, won in less than an hour by Santigosa/Collado. Final score:  6 / 3 6 / 1 .

At the end of the meeting, Dylan Guichard posted on Instagram about the result. “Not in the expected form“, he proclaims. However, his adventure alongside Bastien Blanqué has only just begun!

For  Carla Toully  and his partner  Margarida Fernandes , there may be a little more regret at the end of a very close match against Natividad Lopez Diaz (132) and Laura Luján Rodríguez (137). Another 8 seed who will have defeated the French pair.

However, the first two were very close. If Carla and Margarida lose the first act, they  manage to get back to the second . Unfortunately, the third set did not go in the right direction. After a big fight, the Franco-Portuguese pair lost  6/7(6) 7/6(4) 6/2 .

Even if there are no more French people in Sweden, there are still  tricolors present on international tracks . Indeed, three French people are still entered in the Riyadh qualifications !
