The Five Padel Cup made its return on the occasion of the Padel Best Expo 2024 held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. In the eight-team wheelchair padel tournament, Dorian Navarro and Laurent Giammartini made it to the final.

The 10% French pair got off to a perfect start by winning their three group matches. In the semi-final, the Blues fought a big battle to eliminate Topher Trivino (former Spanish number one) and Victor Careton, 6/7 – 7/6 – 10/7.

In the final, the French numbers one and three pushed Oscar Agea (Spanish number one) and Marcos Cambronero to the super tie-break, but had to lose: 6/4 – 4/6 – 10/6.

At the end of this successful event on the Rock, Dorian Navarro declared: “ Despite the defeat, the signs of progress are truly incredible. After a very tough pre-season, the work is already paying off! On the way to Barcelona with my compi Seb (editor's note: Husser-Walther, French number two) to do even better. »
