Training padel is a topic often discussed on Padel Magazine. You regularly send us questions for information about teaching padel in France. The FFT has already told us: “The training padel is a priority site ”.

The FFT your interlocutor

First of all, the French Tennis Federation is your main contact. It represents the padel in France and it is also she who is in charge of training and its development.

For now, the FFT has only been able to adapt the training courses they already offer. For example, for some time it has been offering modules padel as part of continuous training for BE TENNIS. A good thing, of course, but not enough. And the FFT admits it.

You need to get closer to your tennis leagues who will be able to answer you on the development of training padel. Some leagues are also particularly active in the padel like the PACA league which is one of the locomotives of padel French. Others are also getting organized and taking stock of this priority project.

The State Diploma Padel - FROM PADEL

Priority shipyard

This is why she is working on one of the big projects that touches the padel : The specific teaching of padel and its training. At the moment, there is no formal training of padel issued by the Ministry of Sports.

Fortunately, you have the opportunity to train through organizations that have come into existence.

"Training padel is one of our priorities“. Hubert Picquier, the elected official in charge of padel, moreover explained it to us several times. “The FFT is working on it. She knows that the teaching of padel in France. But she's not the only one who can act".

Indeed, the ambition is to offer a diploma that is recognized by the Ministry of Sports in the same way as the state tennis certificate. Problem, it takes a lot of time. And the FFT is not master of time. It thus depends a lot on the progress of the Ministry so that it can concretely move forward.

Editor's note: Be careful, we are talking about BE Tennis. However, this is a state diploma that we obviously wanted to talk about. Thanks to Arnaud Saurois for his wise eye.
