Le game format, the number of matches padel allowed per day and rest time have been formalized by the French Tennis Federation in the competition guide padel for 2020.

GAME FORMATS

DELETION of NO-AD in all Game formats PADEL.

Only four game formats are used in the Padel :

Long formats

Format A: 3 sets to 6 games

Format B: 2 sets of 6 games, 3rd set = super deciding 10 point game

Short formats

Format C: 2 sets of 4 games, tie-break 4/4, 3rd set = super tie-break 10 points

Format D: 1 set of 10 points (format reserved for P 25 - Cf. CDC Tournois)

All matches, regardless of format, will be counted at the same coefficient (coefficient 1) when calculating the ranking.

NUMBER OF MATCHES PER DAY

Depending on the game formats used during competitions, a player (hear by player: player) is allowed to play a maximum number of matches per day (including all events in which the player participates) :

If 2 matches per day => Choice of format

If 3 matches per day => 2 matches maximum in Format A

If 4 matches per day => no match in format A / 3 matches maximum in format B

If 5 matches per day => no match in format A / no match in format B

No more than 5 games per day allowed (except Format D used for P 25)

REST TIME at padel

Rest times minimum, mandatory, between two matches:

2h00 after a match in format A

1h30 after a match in format B

45 minutes after a match in C format

15 minutes after a match in D format
