At the San Javier Challenger - World Padel Tour, our French once again showed very good things, even if the result is not always what we hoped for. And the Franco-Spanish pair Godallier / Garcia achieved an exceptional comeback!

The adventure of Jérémy Scateny and Johan Bergeron stops at the stage of the 2nd round of the previas. But it is a very positive defeat against the seed 1 of the table of previas Nicoletti / Del Castillo in 3 sets: 6/2 2/6 6/1. The two players tell us that they want to try in the future to play more regularly together on the professional circuit of padel even if they each have partners for the end of the season.

In girls, 2 French were in the previas race. And there will be only Lea Godallier for the second round. Indeed Melissa Martin and Maria Vera have to bow in 2 small sets against one of the previas favorite pairs: Sussarello / Pappacena (1 seed of the table). Another unfortunate draw for Melissa Martin who crosses fingers that the wheel will turn in the next events, because this is not the first time that our French is found to play a first round against the best pairs of tables.

Léa Godallier and Carmen Garcia Pardo (TS2) were very hot tonight in San Javier. They did not go far from the exit since they won their match in 3 sets 7/5 3/6 7/6. In the last set, Léa Godallier / Carmen Garcia Pardo was down 5/1 before returning to this last set and winning in the tie break. We will meet our Franco-Spanish pair tomorrow morning at 10am to hope to play a previas final and join Laura Clergue in the main draw.
