After more than 2h17 of play and 3 sets of an exceptional level, Bela and Coello emerged victorious from their duel against Stupaczuk and Lima. They validate the last ticket for the semi-finals of this Italy Major Premier Padel.

What a game ! We expected a titanic fight, we got it. The first set perfectly laid the first stone of a match that was going to delight us. With two very solid pairs since the start of the competition on their face-off, we necessarily suspected that the breaks were not going to be so numerous. And the numbers prove it: there was only one break point in the first set, obtained by Stupa and Lima and saved by their opponents. Finally, it was Bela and Coello who made the difference in extremis in the tie-break 7-6 (5).

The second act was going to be pivotal: either the Stupa / Lima duo took the door in two straight sets, which would have been a little surprise, or they got back on their feet. And it was finally the second scenario that happened. By being even more diligent and a tad more aggressive, the Brazilian and the Argentinian got two break points and this time, an aura was enough to tip the scales in their favor and win the second round.

The deciding set was sort of the epilogue of a trilogy. After this great fight, we were finally going to know the winners of this fierce duel. A break: this is what the meeting was all about. The Belasteguin / Coello duo will have obtained a break point in the last set and will have converted it, while on the other side, Stupa and Lima can harbor regrets because they will have had no less than 4 balls to take the service of their opponents in this deciding set. A story of details certainly, but it is these details that make the difference in the big matches.

Final score: Victory Bela/Coello 7-6 6-3 6-4
