Jean-Thomas Peyrou, director of FIP Rise Burgundy, looked back on the event that took place last weekend, with a particular focus on the club that hosted the event.

The Big Padel Bordeaux, quite a story

The organization of this tournament was made in close collaboration with the founders and leaders of the Big Padel Bordeaux, Antoine and Louis Couvercelle.

We have been working together for several years now. This structure made me evolve as a player, then gave me the desire to succeed and to undertake.

It is a club where life is good and with a strong family spirit, a place where all projects are intertwined.

Antoine and Louis trusted me for my academy to see the light of day, and I thank them for that. They also gave me their support regarding the organization of this international tournament.

An impressive structure

This club has a real team of enthusiasts and we needed all the forces present to make this tournament go off without a hitch.

The palm grove, which is the new room, with 4 tracks, 2 of which have exits, was thought out and designed to accommodate this type of event. Electric curtains were therefore placed all around the room, which created this light and this incredible effect.

I would like to thank all the volunteers who were able to respond, with a special mention to Christophe who did not hesitate to pick up a Spanish team at the station at 3 am.

It is thanks to this beautiful family spirit, to the atmosphere that reigns within this club, but above all to the passion that everyone shows towards the padel that we were able to bring together this team of volunteers.

The whole Big team Padel has been on deck for these 5 days and I thank them for it.

See you next year, to do even better!
