2022: a year of absence and the return
End of a year 2022 so special. In March 2022, after a year's absence, it's back to training.
What a pleasure to be able to hit the ball again, to sweat. A physical start from zero and a long work done thanks to Studio Fit Chaponnay.
It is also the beginning of the collaboration with Johan Bergeron and All In Padel Lyon, who agree to help me in my plan to return to the French circuit.
My beginnings with Lucile Pothier
It's also the beginning with Lucile Pothier, my new partner.
With Johan Bergeron and François Authier (Spirit Padel), this is the beginning of our training.
Lucile Pothier is a talented player.
In April, it's the first tournament: it's difficult, the automatisms are not easy to find, a total lack of self-confidence...
I go down to 50th place in the French rankings, my head is struggling to keep up, but luckily I have this new role of mom which fills me with happiness.
The return of pleasure
Of course, as competitors, we wanted to do better than at the start of the year.
We end the year with an encouraging level of play and results that follow.
Return to the French team in 2023
I could not honor the Team France selection this year. I didn't feel ready enough physically but also mentally being away from my son during the competition. A decision I made that was not easy but I have no regrets.
I thank coach Robin Haziza for respecting my decision.
I will do my best to be in this team again in 2023.
