Johan Bergeron, the quadruple French Champion and recent bronze medalist at the Dubai World Cup with the French team, decides to put an end to his career.

A new adventure begins for this player who will undoubtedly have marked the padel French.

A thoughtful decision

“It's time for me to announce my decision taken a few weeks ago. I am sure of my decision and happy to have made it, but this moment of putting it in writing is always complicated.

I decided to stop my career because my motivation turns to the development of All In Padel. It's been almost a year since I embarked on this development adventure of All In Padel. It is impossible for me to continue to perform well on the track.

Sport gives you incredible moments, but high-level sport requires too much time investment. And I'm not ready to take it."

It all started with Bastien Blanqué

“I thank all my partners but also adversaries who have made me evolve over the years. Partners who have become friends. A huge thought necessarily to Bastien (Bastien Blanqué) with whom I went to Madrid, to train us every day, which allowed us to have these three titles of Champions of France.

Thinking also of Ben and Scat (Benjamin Tison and Jérémy Scatena), with whom I had the chance to play but also to live incredible moments until this title of Champion of France with Ben and this famous tournament in Dubai (in FIP) with Scat which allowed him to finish the year in the Top 100."

A small regret, but an unexpected bronze medal

“I wanted to finish with this title of Champion of France, unfortunately it was not possible, but I believe that I could not have dreamed better than to leave after this unexpected medal at the World Championships so sincerely THANK YOU to all the players and the staff of the France team because it is thanks to all of you.”

Sanyo was great with me

“Thank you to all the coaches and players that I have been able to meet, thank you for taking the time to help me progress. I had the chance to share the track with almost all the best players in the world, but I was a fan of a player before leaving, we were able to be in his training group for a year and he was always awesome with me is SANYO. I was able to immortalize his victory at the World Championship to "close the loop".

Support French people abroad

“I also want to thank my sponsors who have supported me in this project from the start, it is thanks to you that I have been able to live in Spain and devote myself 100% to the padel "

And finally thank you to all of you for your support during all these years, continue to support our French people who invest because they deserve it.

My last tournament will therefore be the P2000 in Toulouse, which I will do with Adrien Maigret, and we will give everything to win this last title, I hope.
