As we approach the end of the 2018 season, the organizers of the World Padel Tour are gradually announcing the calendar for the 2019 season. Indeed, the professional circuit of Padel will stop in Marbella to start the next season.

The official announcement of the Marbella event

On Monday 29 October 2018, the organizers of the WPT officially announced that the event that will inaugurate the calendar of next year will be held in Marbella.

The deal that has been signed indicates that Marbella will be on the WPT calendar for the next three seasons. In this way, Marbella, the cradle of Padel in Spain, will resume receiving the best players on the planet.

The final dates and the exact site of future matches

The WPT Marbella called the “Trophy of Saint Peter Alcantara” will take place between March 17 and 24, and will be contested in the Elena Benitez Sports Palace in Saint Peter of Alcantara.

The configuration will be the same as the WPT Bilbao held recently. There will be two courts, a central court, and a secondary court, so that spectators can attend, and see all the matches of the tournament.
