A gamble transformed into an exploit
The year 2023 was an extraordinary adventure for Seghiri, marked by intense emotions and enriching encounters. His journey began with an ambitious goal of 140 tournaments, not only achieved but surpassed. “Three tournaments a week, and up to 21 in a month!”, he says enthusiastically.
One of the highlights of his journey was his participation in the P500 alongside Baptiste Delvienne, ranked 44th French player. This challenge, born from a friendly bet, turned into a key moment in his career. Likewise, his presence at the Master Final of World Padel Tour in Barcelona, thanks to the invitation of Yannick Maurel, president of the club padel “My Center Palavas” was an unforgettable experience.

With around 35 different partners, Seghiri was able to adapt his game and his strategy to each situation. He cites Yannick de Maisoncelle as his strongest partner and humorously evokes Simon Grosjean, his “worst” partner but also his friend.
