As you have seen, the Ranking of Padel published this Monday, October 16 now takes into account the 10 best results (which in our opinion is really a good thing) over the last 12 months.

And this is where the “shoe pinch” because this period includes the month of October 2016 which still includes 6 “old scales” tournaments including the 2016 French Championships.

The FFT did not wish to modify the rule which prevailed throughout the year and “artificially” modified the points awarded for the tournaments of October 2016, these having been recorded throughout the year in the various Rankings. .

However, and knowing that the new scales of P 100, P 250, P 500 and P 1000 were introduced in November 2016, the Federation will publish a new Ranking of PADEL next MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, which should definitely erase these past trials.

Thus, we will have a ranking finally completely significant, always taking into account the 10 best results in the last 12 months.

As a reminder, the FFT has also provided for the monthly payment of the Ranking ... which some are eagerly awaiting as the preparation of such a Ranking "in Excel" remains tedious and a source of error.

Patience therefore, the very next Ranking will tell us definitively who are our best French !!
