Mexico is truly “the place to be” for all lovers of padel at the end of 2023! Indeed, the cradle of padel world will host several international tournaments organized by the main circuits of the discipline for this final stretch.

A1 Puebla

It is on the Fabrice Pastor circuit that hostilities begin. After the suspension of the tournament planned in Torreón, the Mexican organization set to work finding a new location. And so it is in the pretty town of Puebla, 140 km from the capital that the players left their bags at the start of the week. Who will win the title in Mexico? Crowned in New York a few days ago, Tolito Aguirre et Tito Allemandi Will they manage to repeat their feat? Answer this Sunday.

FIP Star Puebla

Would Puebla become THE city of padel in Mexico ? It may still be too early to tell, but it is clear that this magnificent city with its colorful streets is hosting not one but two international competitions this week. On the one hand we have, as seen a little above, theA1 Padel and on the other one FIP Star in which we will find six French people. In fact, the two 100% tricolor pairs made the trip Bastien Blanqué / Dylan Guichard et Thomas Vanbauce / Dorian DeMeyer and Maxime Moreau who plays alongside Jacobo Perez Cendo. The latest winners of the FIP Rise Antalya, Thomas Leygue and his partner Ferran Insa are also there, and they form the seeded 2 in the competition.

WPT Mexico Open 1000

A little later in the month, from November 20 to 26, it will be the turn of the players of the World Padel Tour to arrive in Mexico for an Open 1000. The best in the world will participate in this Mexican stage, which will take place a few weeks before the Master Final. Last year, Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello won in the grand final against Pablo Lima and Franco Stupaczuk, thus signing their first success together. Among the women, we were able to witness the eleventh title of the season for the Salazar / Triay pair.
Who will walk away with the cup this year? Response in three weeks.

FIP Platinum Mexico

Immediately after the FIP Star in Puebla, players will head to Mexico City to participate in a FIP Platinum, the highest category of FIP Tour tournaments.

GNP Mexico Major Premier Padel

Finally, it is in Acapulco, mother land of the pala and the little yellow ball, that this Mexican epic is supposed to end. Indeed, immediately after the WPT Mexico Open, the cream of the padel The world will meet from November 27 to December 03 in the pretty seaside resort. However, we do not yet know at the time of writing these lines if this meeting can take place because following the passage of storm Otis in the area, numerous damages were reported at the GNP Arena, the venue in which the tournament should take place. For the moment the tournament is still confirmed and we have no further information from the organizers.
