We had anticipated it with Alix Collombon but, ultimately, it is alongside  Marta Caparros  that we will find the young Spaniard  Marta Barrera .

The two players have just announced it:  they are back together . In 2022, the young Caparros and Barrera shared the track. They even managed, during the WPT Vienna Open, to  reach the eighths  final:  a first for both players .

In 2023,  the paths of the two players had separated . In 2023, Marta Caparros notably made some ranges alongside  Léa Godallier , before ending the season with  Teresa Navarro . With Léa, they had notably  created the feeling  beating  the Araujo/Castello pair  at the WPT Valencia Open and joining  the quarter-finals .

Marta Barrera had played alongside  Lucia Martinez placeholder image . They also managed to reach  the quarter-finals of the WPT Vienna Open , a tournament that Marta Barrera did well.

In 2024, Marta Barrera and Marta Caparros therefore decided to  renew their old alliance .  The two players aged 20 and 23  land on the Premier Padel with much expectation and hope. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to reach the quarter-finals of a tournament again this year!

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
