Fernando Belasteguin, in addition to being the most successful player in history, impresses physically. At 43, the Argentinian has just won a second consecutive title on the World Padel Tour with Arthur Coello.

Well physically

If Bela dazzles the court with his talent and his very well thought out shots, where The leyenda of Pehuajó impresses is his ability to hold very high intensity matches against players who are sometimes half his age. What's more during a season where the weeks of tournaments are linked like never before!

“Physically, I feel very good. When I finished the Premier Padel from Mendoza, I took 3 days off, then I did 15 days of very hard work because I knew that from September to December, with the amount of tournaments, I was not going to be able to train, so I am very good", explained Fernando Belasteguin to our colleagues from Padel High.

During the two weeks of vacation, Bela therefore trained very hard not to lose the physical rhythm. We wonder when Bela is resting, and the answer is never. So that's the secret.

He and Arturo Coello seem to be getting along better than ever and the pair have clearly grown in strength. Bela explained it at the microphone of Padel Magazine from Sweden.

"Lies"

Recently, Fernando Belasteguin also had some rather curious words in the Spanish media El Largero:

“In professional sport, at some point, you go through moments of falsehood, lies, interest… and being in Pehuajó [Argentina] does me a lot of good, because they are pure people”. They clean you up.” Who is the Argentinian talking about?

Finally, in an interview with the Catalan newspaper Sport, Bela also offered an interesting reflection on his career:

“Today my head does not allow me to enjoy what I have achieved, because I have to keep improving week after week to continue to be competitive".

Bela won his 229th WPT title yesterday.
