Le World Padel Tour and Qatar Sports Investments formalize their discussion to find common ground on the future of professional padel.
Below is the translation of the official press release from World Padel Tour :
Qatar Sports Investments, Qatar's sovereign wealth fund dedicated to the promotion of sport, and Damm, a leading food and beverage company, have agreed to enter into discussions to foster partnerships in the field of professional padel.
Qatar Sports Investments is the founding company of the professional circuit Premier Padel, alongside the International Padel Federation, the world governing body of padel, and the PPA (Professional Padel Players Association), which represents the leading professional padel players. Mr. Damm is also the owner of Setpoint Events, the organizer of the World Padel Tour.
Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and, given that the World Padel Tour et Premier Padel share the goal of taking this sport to the next level, both parties have agreed to explore possibilities for future collaboration. In the coming months, both organizations aim to develop and define possible joint projects that will boost the world of padel.
