The central court will be specially laid out in an arena of 4 200 places, redesigned for break the attendance record for a match of padel in France. Robin Haziza, Director of Human Padel Open

“Tony Parker is a legend of French sport, but is also an accomplished entrepreneur, and this is the obvious link with the place where we are currently, TBS Education, a school of international management recognized in the world.

For this second edition, of course, there are partners who are essential and the most important partners, today, are obviously our communities which have enabled Toulouse and the Occitanie region and the Haute-Garonne department to receive for the first time in history, last year, the best players in the world.

At the start, it was not won! In the end, the room was full, we had an exceptional show and obviously, I am very happy to be able to count on the support and guidance of the communities once again.

I would like to warmly thank all the partners of the event who, in addition to being more numerous than last year, are enormously committed to promoting the tournament.

Le padel is experiencing considerable growth in France. Make the Human a long-term Padel Open is an objective that will allow as many people as possible to discover this wonderful discipline.”

Tony Parker and Robin Haziza

Toulouse, city of choice

Line Malric: “The Haute-Garonne departmental council is very happy to be once again a partner of this beautiful event which last year was a resounding success. Despite the great heat on the site, people came and the players played well.

We have a proactive policy and a desire to always link professional, high-level sport and amateur sport, but also to develop the practice of sports, and in particular padel throughout our Haut-Garonne territory.

This is why we organize our partnership by investing in the equipment that is used for the tournament, and which will then be implemented in the territory.

Kamel Shibli: “I would like to thank TBS for welcoming us today, all the elected officials, the parliamentarians, the partners, Robin but also Tony. It is true that initially padel was something very new but it's since something that has germinated well.

When I met both of you a few months ago, it's true that I was quite skeptical. I had trouble imagining that this practice could become a performance practice, even more so through the television dimension. But it went rather well, with attendance beyond our expectations in Toulouse, which is a city very marked by sport.

bring the padel for an event as important as this was a courageous ambition because inevitably when you organize an event, you have to find partners, have people … but I am very happy with the result obtained.

There are a lot of people who will come from all over France, from Spain, but also from all over the world. For us, it's a real satisfaction and for the economy it's also important. Through this event, the image of Toulouse is also important.

Tony is also an asset. Beyond the personality he embodies in terms of the medals, of everything he has won, we know the man, the humility of the person. He has this human side which is a real added value, at least for the younger generations who listen to him. It is a satisfaction for us to also have this image of ambassador that he embodies on the desire to develop sport in our territories and to develop the practice.

Stephanie Lavigne: “When students are asked where they want to study, Toulouse has topped the list for several years now. A city that has been accumulating sports awards lately and a school, TBS Education, which wanted to join this partnership. So we are today a partner of the Human Padel Open 2023 which is held in Toulouse. It's a big sporting event in the world of padel !

TBS is a school that has been a pioneer in the proposal of a sports retraining program for top athletes. Terre d'Occitane and Toulouse oblige, we had dedicated it to rugby players. And so for several years, we offered rugby players who were reaching the end of their career a sports retraining program around entrepreneurship and around structural management..

And with this skill, I am happy to announce that TBS will announce in a few weeks very interesting things concerning training that will be dedicated to management professions – sport. So TBS has the ambition to position itself as a key player, a benchmark player in the sports world.”
