The tenth event of the season came to an end causing a series of upheavals in the world ranking (Du World Padel Tour). In this column, we will decipher all the changes that there have been in the ranking of the WPT.

This ranking is an obsession for some pairs who look at it carefully to know if they will be able to play the Masters which will take place in Madrid in December.

Male ranking:

  • Maxi Sanchez keeps his place of world number 1 with 12 points. And his partner, Sanyo Gutiérrez remains second with 370 points.
  • The third world, Pablo Lima, reduced his delay with the first two. He now has 10 points.
  • Paquito Navarro, champion in Bilbao with Lima, is approaching the fifth place in the world occupied by Matias Diaz. The difference between the two players is only 700 points.
  • Javi Ruiz and Uri Botello are getting close to getting their Masters entry ticket following their semi-final at WPT Bilbao.

Female ranking:

  • Mayo and Mapi Sanchez Alayeto maintain their supremacy at the top of the women's standings with 13 points thanks to their final at WPT Bilbao.
  • Gemma Triay and Lucia Sainz, semi-finalists in Bilbao, continue to try the impossible by chasing the twins at the top of the standings. The pair add 9 points.
  • Marta Marrero and Alejandra Salazar, crowned at WPT Bilbao, have 9 and 055 points respectively, and are getting closer to second place!
  • The fight for fourth place also intensifies, where Marta Ortega and Ariana Sanchez are now 1 points ahead of Eli Amatriain and Patty Llaguno.
  • In the fight for the Madrid Masters in December, it is Thérèse Navarro and Victoria Iglesias who occupy the last two places. Followed very closely by Alba Galan and Mari Carmen Villalba.
  • Sandra Hernandez has the best progression of the week after advancing 9 places to occupy the 31eworld place.
