The competition guide padel has been updated. Among the evolutions, the ladies are authorized to participate in certain tournaments of padel gentlemen, according to the following rules:

  • Possibility to register a lady in a men's tournament, up to and including the P 500
  • Possibility, therefore, to have, in a men's tournament P 25, P 100, P 250 or P 500: a pair made up of 2 players; or a pair made up of a player and a player; or a pair made up of 2 players
  • Classification equivalence to be assigned to a player participating in a men's tournament, for the establishment of pools and tables:

A ranked player

  • between 1 and 20 => + 250 in the men's ranking
  • between 21 and 50 => + 800 in the men's ranking
  • between 51 and 100 => + 2000 in the men's ranking
  • between 101 and 500 => + 4000 in the men's ranking
  • 501 and more => + 6000 in the men's ranking

Example: a player ranked 23 rd French will be ranked 823 (23 + 800) in the men's classification, and this classification of 823 will be used to calculate the weight of the pair.

To be able to participate in a tournament, we reason by pair weight (addition of the two player rankings): Example: the player classified N ° 18 wants to participate in a P 250 men's tournament with a boy ranked 458 th, the weight of the pair will therefore be: (18 + 250) + 458 = 726

Note: for Mixed events where only Mixed pairs are obligatorily composed of a woman and a man, no need to use these equivalences; the weight of the pair will simply be the sum of the player's rankings in their respective rankings.
