In order to best prepare for the deconfinement and the return to the slopes, the FIP has defined a protocol in order to avoid future contagions.

The International Federation of Padel assumes that the padel, which does not cause physical contact between practitioners, could be one of the first authorized sports during deconfinement. In order to limit the spread of the virus as well as possible, the FIP offers a certain number of precautions for clubs and users.

Prohibition to change sides

Start 5 minutes after the start of the slot and finish 5 minutes before

Sanitize your hands every 15 minutes

Space and sanitize the chairs where players sit and place their bags

  • Lessons

No group lessons (2 people maximum)

Use of new balls, supplied by users

  • Travel

Only athletes can access the club padel

If possible, provide signage to manage the entry and exit flow of users

Clubs with many tracks must adjust their schedules to avoid users crossing between tracks

Latex mask and gloves mandatory for all staff

Frequent cleaning of common areas

Avoid cash payments

  • The changing rooms and the club house

Closed showers

Bar management in line with national and / or local measures

Use only new bales

Wearing a latex glove on your free hand

Installation of disinfectant gel dispensers

Systematic presence of a person in charge of monitoring the correct application of all these rules
