There are three types of competitions in Padel :

- Tournaments

- Championships (in pairs)

- Team Championships (interclubs)

From the 2019 sports year, which begins on Monday, September 3, 2018, mixed competitions are approved, and will give rise to the establishment of a Mixed Classification, which will therefore include women and men (see chapter “The Ranking ").

Regarding tournaments: there are therefore, as of 3 September 2018, three types of possible events, approved : Double Men (DM), Double Ladies (DD), and Double Mixed (DMX).

Regarding Pair Championships, two types of events are possible:

Senior Men's Doubles and Senior Ladies' Doubles. There is in fact no “mixed” French Championship, so no “mixed” regional Championship.

All competitions, Tournaments or Championships, are played in the “Seniors” age category.
