The captain of the French team Gentlemen of padel, Alexis Salles, looks back on the matches of the French men's team yesterday at the European Championships padel in Lisbon. He tells us from the track:

We are really happy and relieved to have won this 1ere match against the Netherlands.

It's never easy to start a competition, especially against a very good Dutch team composed of homogeneous players and very aggressive in the field.

Our team 1 Bergeron / Blanqué is very well entered in the game and left no chance to their opponents. Congratulations to Johan for his 1ère selection in France team!

Our team 2 Scatena / Ritz finished the job by winning in 3 sets against brave Dutch who played very well and managed to worry our 2 Jeremy by their very aggressive game at the net. The Jerem never panic and have mastered the 3eme set! The experience played on this match!

Finally disappointment for our 3eme team Moreau / Panse for a match without a stake but we wanted to win to prepare our other meetings. Loïc and Max failed to put their game in place and got stuck in a game too stereotyped.

Today we face Germany for a place in 1 / 4 final and especially the opportunity to finish first of our pool!

The players are very motivated, Robin feels much better than yesterday so there is more than just !!!
