It is a project that Sébastien Cornet, the president ofMind Padel, cherished for a long time and which materializes at the beginning of the year 2023. The very dynamic club of Saint-Priest, in the Lyon region, has just acquired an extension with two new grounds, which brings to eight the number of indoor tracks. Barely available, these pitches have been taken over by local players, in this club where occupancy rates are constantly increasing.

But other work is also underway, with a view to delivering a covered terrace and a roof-top in February, which will enhance the attractiveness of these very popular places. Then in March, two petanque courts will follow, allowing wild games around an aperitif.

This will satisfy both recreational players and competitors. For the latter, the club concocts a very dense program of tournaments each month, in all categories. No less than 18 events are scheduled between February 11 and May 8, as you will see in our tournament schedule.

Icing on the cake, Spirit padel will offer on March 9 the second edition of the WeLovePadel TennisCup. Organized by Antoine and Laurent Trupiano (WeLoveTennis), it will bring together 32 pairs divided between two tournaments, a P100 and a P250. And a team of Padel Magazine will be there!

After 40 years of tennis, Jérôme falls into the pot of padel in 2018. Since then, he thinks about it every morning while shaving… but never shaves pala in hand! Journalist in Alsace, he has no other ambition than to share his passion with you, whether you speak French, Italian, Spanish or English.
