Mari Carmen Villalba announced on Instagram, the 19th player in the ranking of the World Padel Tour will not be able to participate in the Estrella Damm Valencia Open because she is positive for Covid-19.

The 33-year-old, who had tested positive two weeks ago had met her quarantine, but during the mandatory pre-tournament test she turned out to be still positive… A hard blow for her but also for her partner Veronica Virseda who cannot compete in the tournament either…

Fortunately, she claims to be in good health, and should normally be negative for the Sardinia tournament.
