Miguel Oliveira and Yain Melgratti won the'' APT Master Final 2021 in Rosario, Argentina. Almost eliminated after two days of competition, they end the week on a cloud!

The final started with a little delay due to the rain falling on Rosario. But the sun is coming back and the party can begin. The wind makes the game complicated, but the two pairs are very applied in this revenge of the match won 4 days ago by Aguirre and Torre. The two pairs know each other well and we are witnessing a tactical battle from the start.

The two pairs jostle their opponents in the return games, but no concrete opportunity to break in this start of the match. Miguel Oliveira and Yain Melgratti are released. After they lost their first two Master Final games, no one was there waiting for them. In the sixth game of the first set, Tolito and Torre implode, and a gross direct foul by the latter gave Melgratti / Oliveira a break.

The Argentine-Portuguese pair confirms, to offer themselves the opportunity to serve for the first set. But Agustin Torre makes the show last and saves a set point by taking the ball out the door! Finally, the Portuguese and the Argentinian still end up winning the first round: 6/4.

The second set also starts very strongly, the two pairs give in blow for blow and all the plays are tied. Tolito and Torre show that they are more than two talented players. The Argentines are fighting back in defense and do not save themselves with several dives to save impossible balls. After leading 5/3, they end up sticking to one end everywhere: 7/5.

The large crowd came to Rosario and enjoyed a third set between these two very good pairs. Finally, Oliveira and Melgratti manage to impose their paw against two players who seem diminished. Already with a hip injury, Tolito hurt himself on an outing, while Torre was also hit on a dive. Cooler at the end of the match, Miguel and Yain are on a mission. The Portuguese realizes incredible shots while his partner hurts a lot with his smash. The pair “100% Babolat”Ends up winning in this beautiful fight: 6/4 5/7 6/3!

After having started in a catastrophic way, Oliveira and Melgratti will have shown an unfailing mentality to finish on the best step of the podium. They will forever be the winners of the very first APT Final Master Padel Tower !
