In an interview with Marca, Miguel Lamperti talks about his mixed start to the season with Juan Cruz Belluati and his exciting association with Tino Libaak which begins at the Open 500 de Reus.

The Argentinian first talks about the end of his collaboration with Juan Cruz Belluati. Despite a semi-final in La Rioja, the two men could not find their automatisms, and this from the pre-season:

"Honestly, the pre-season was horrible, we started later, I made a change in physical training after eight years to be able to accompany Juan to the maximum and ten days later I had a ruptured hamstring- leggings."

"Juan and I didn't get along and, after the first tournament, I told him that the best thing was for each of us to look for an alternative because our games weren't compatible."

Today, Lamperti will once again take a young nugget under his wing, a formula he knows well having already experienced it with Yanguas, Sanz and Coello. The native of Bahia Blanca believes that the profile of the finalist from La Rioja, 27 years his junior, is the one that suits him best:

"I need youth, ambition, desire, nerve… and Libaak has all that, in addition to impressive potential and great maturity. So I'll be by his side or by the side of whoever I'm playing with until my legs give out and I decide to stop.. "
