After the clear defeat of Fiona Ligi and Charlotte Soubrié (1/6 2/6) against the Portuguese n°1 Araujo / Rodriguez, Léa Godallier and Alix Collombon had equalized 6/2 6/4 against Catarina Castro Vilela and Margarida Fernandes.

Courageous, Lucile Pothier and Elodie Invernon were unfortunately unable to shake up the hierarchy against the Portuguese Ana Catarina Nogueira and Patricia Ribeiro, which win 6/2 6/2.

Les Bleues will therefore not be able to do better than 7th in this World Cup, a place that will have to be won against Germany. The latter lost 2-0 to Sweden, who will compete tomorrow for 5th place against the Portuguese.
