During this 1e day of the 3th event of the season of the professional circuit in Alicante, we went through all the emotions. At the end of this day, it is especially the exceptional victory of our French pair Moreau / Bergeron on the professional circuit ... A first association on the WPT and a final of preprevias on the menu!

3 on 4 in the first round

In the morning games, French 3 on 4 were qualified for the 2nd pre-previa round.

Jérémy Scatena, Bastien Blanqué and the pair Johan Bergeron / Maxime Moreau all passed this first hurdle.

Only Robin Haziza lost in the first round against very strong opponents including Aitor Garcia, a player known in France for his formidable style of play.

The afternoon saw the defeats of Jeremy Scatena and Bastien Blanque.

Disappointing tournament for Jérémy after 2 first very satisfying tournaments.

Defeat of Bastien Blanqué, associated with a young Spanish on the score of 6 / 3 6 / 3. A score that does not necessarily reflect the quality of the match made with particular 2 games 0 / 40 and 15 / 40 early 2nd set not converted.

A very criticized organization

The day goes on and the rain falls more and more strongly on Alicante.

This is the moment when the organization becomes more and more chaotic.

The 2nd match of the day by Johan Bergeron and Max Moreau is scheduled at 19h30. Because of a very big delay, the organization decides to relocate the match to another club located at 25 minutes.

Alicante being the victim of very strong floods this week, the 2nd club is ... flooded!

Back to the original club!

At 21h, the match is about to start ... Only problem, floods make the land dangerous, including inside or water falls from the roof! The opponents therefore refuse to play on the court N ° 5. It will be necessary to wait an hour more than the short N ° 2 is released!

Bergeron / Moreau, to the mind!

Start of the match at 22h30. A first set dominated up to 5 / 3 by the pair 100% French before linking 4 very average games ... 7 / 5 defeat the 1er set.

The French cling and finally win the following 2 sets 7 / 5 7 / 6!

1 am in the morning, end of the match!

A victory that will allow Johan Bergeron and Max Moreau to play an 3e lap for a possible qualification in anticipation.

This victory is even more important for Johan Bergeron that the draw had reserved for him the team against whom he had lost in the first 2 tournaments. Nice revenge for him!

They will play their 3th match at 11h tomorrow against the seeded No. 6 pre-qualifiers. Complicated but feasible for our French 100% pair in men.

Back on an interview that dates a little and where we had asked the question of a possible association ... Destiny has brought them closer to Spain. Temporary?
