The world of padel asked of the French interclub team championships in 2021. Unfortunately it will not take not count on it in 2021. With the health crisis, many projects were rejected by the FFT. And this one seems to have been.

In the FFT Competition Guide of Padel 2021, the FFT issued its decision: “In 2021 there are no French interclub team championships”.

However, nothing prevents committees and leagues from proposing and to enact their own regulations. Certain leagues like the PACA league have not waited for the FFT to organize its team championships.

Christian Collange, newly re-elected at the head of the committee padel PACA confirms this: “In 2021, if we are not pressured by COVID-19 to give up our events padel in the PACA league, get ready for a great edition of our team championships."

The FFT explains it as follows in the 2021 competition guide:

“Team championships organized by certain leagues or committees: each league or committee issues its own regulations (there are no French interclub team championships in 2021)

Some Leagues organize Youth, Seniors or Seniors Plus Interclub competitions.

The Leagues then establish their own regulations.

The maximum valuation that may be retained for these different competitions is:

    • P 500 for Seniors interclub
    • P 250 for Youth or Seniors Plus interclub

Qualifying phases can naturally be organized, of lower category.

The valuation of the different events remains at the discretion of the League, depending on the players / participants. ”
