The FIP is preparing to launch a new format for the 2023 edition of the Cupra FIP Tour Finals. From now on, teams that lose will still have a chance to be champions.

2023, a record edition with a specificity

With a total of 110 tournaments organized for 2023, the Cupra FIP Tour will establish at the end of the season a record number of events organized. In addition to this new record, the edition of the Finals will also have a specificity. Players who lost a match in the competition will still have a chance to return to the tournament and therefore potentially win the competition.

The Finals will bring together the eight best pairs of the FIP Tour in Europe, the top four from North and South America and the top two pairs from Asia. Two more pairs will be added to the qualifying draw consisting of four Wild-Cards. In all, there will be 16 pairs for men and women

After the first round, the qualified pairs will be divided into two groups. The losing pairs will have a second chance, they will be returned to another table. The winners will be able to return to the main draw.

Prize money for the Finals

The 2023 FIP Finals will distribute €80 equally between the men's and women's draw. Winners will get 000 FIP ranking points, runners-up will get 150.
