THEOpen My Center Palavas – P1000 will take place from Friday August 18th to Sunday August 20th. As often near Montpellier, this tournament, both for ladies and gentlemen, promises to be tough.

Ligi and Phaysouphanh: the favorites

The Ligi / Phaysouphanh pair is the favorite of this P1000. However, Amélie Detrivière and Mélanie Ros, who are forming a new association for the occasion, could create a surprise. In ambush, the Majdoubi / Alquier pair occupy the seeded 3, followed closely by the renowned pair from the south of France, Sorel / Lambregts.

Following delays in the roofing work, the 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 finals of the women's table will be relocated to Tennis Padel of Grammont ASPTT on Saturday. The semi-finals and the final will be held on Sunday at My Center Palavas.

Will Le Panse and Ayuso confirm their status?

For this tournament, Loïc Le Panse will be associated with the finalist of the P1500 of Sète, Quentin Ayuso. This pair is the seed 1 of the competition. Other notable teams include Sanchez/Bayard (ts2), Durand/Perez (ts3), Boutier/Ferrara (ts4), local pair Hougounenq/Delvienne (ts5) as well as youngsters Fonteny and Boronad (ts6) who are on a good run.

Organization

  • A food-truck will be present all day Saturday in Grammont.
  • A Reunion evening is organized on Saturday evening for participants at My Center Palavas.
  • A partner hotel is located 5 minutes from the ASPTT and 10 minutes from My Center Palavas. The two clubs are 10 minutes apart.
  • A shuttle will be available on Saturday evening to transport participants from Grammont to Palavas for the evening. To benefit from it, a simple call is enough.
  • Qualifying for the men's draw begins at 14 p.m. on Friday.
