It was a highly anticipated final at the 4Padel Bordeaux for this first P1000 of the year, with a surprise poster for the title. We found the pair  Jennifer Denecheau  et  Marie Boura  (TS2), opposed to the duo that no one expected at this stage of the competition,  Marie Lefevre  et  Emilie Loit  (TS9).

Like their semi-final, earlier in the morning, Marie Lefevre and Émilie Loit defied all predictions to win this title in Bordeaux. Final score:  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

A station wagon rain

The first round is synonymous with  breaks , both for one team and the other. None of the players manage to maintain their service game. The teams fight blow for blow and neither pair manages to gain the upper hand over the other.

 Émilie Loit and Marie Lefevre , However outsiders in this meeting, are the first to really achieve  to break away . And for good reason, they succeed in winning  their service game twice , compared to only 1 for Boura/Denecehau.

Marie and Émilie obtain  4 set balls  on the service of their opponents. It was on the fourth occasion that they managed to win the first set and took a step towards the title.

One-sided second set

The 9 seed does not change strategy in this second round and  break from the first game  service of his adversaries. The Lefevre/Loit pair once again demonstrated their good form today and continued to dream of the title.

Unlike the first round,  Jennifer and Marie fail to offer themselves opportunities  to break.  Both players are disturbed by this atypical pair , including two left-handers.

In the end, the number 2 seed does not find a solution to return to this meeting . Émilie Loit and Marie Lefevre win  after only an hour of play and completely overturn the hierarchy of this final!

STATISTICS LOIT LEFEVRE FINALE P1000 4PADEL

It is  a first title in P1000  for former tennis international Émilie Loit. She and her partner Marie Lefevre are therefore the first P1000 champions of this 2024 season. We will now see if this success will lead to others!
