The main board of the P1500 in Tennis / Padel Club Toulonnais started this morning, and it was very hot on the tracks, especially on pitches 2 and 3.

One of the most anticipated matches of the morning featured Cyril Hanouna and Teo Zapata against Matthias Hanoun and Benoît Dardaine, a recognized skilled pair from Padel Bocage in Marseille and the Tennis Club of Bandol. The start of the match was difficult for the Franco-Spanish pair who lost the first set 6/4.

However, once again, mind and experience allowed Hanouna and Zapata to reverse the situation, returning to 1 set everywhere and winning the match in the super tie-break 10/5. They will then face an old acquaintance, the Toppin / Armagnac pair, seeded number 5 in the tournament. This same pair had put an end to the course of Hanouna / Zapata during the P2000 Perpignan at the Club du Mas. Will they be able to take their revenge despite different external conditions in Perpignan?

Nathan Courrin and Norman Sanchez were nearly eliminated when they met Julen Pes and Thomas Rey. As expected, this match ended in a super tie-break. However, the favorites ended up winning 6/2 2/6 10/6.

On the central track, Lucas Navarro and Jérôme Sciarrino surprised by winning the first set against Jérômme Ferrandez / Florian Valsot, before losing in the second set (7/5 6/0).

Note also the victory in two disputed sets of the pair Yoan Boronad / Timéro Fonteny against Jean-Michel Pequery / Anthony Contet: 7/6 6/4.

Don't forget to follow the next match live on the central track: Hanouna / Zapata against Toppin / Armagnac, from 14h.
