Launched for the very first time at the beginning of 2022, the French championship of padel armchair has the explosiveness of a "par 4" smash.

Starting from a small hard core of players, the padel armchair has already played more than 10 tournaments throughout the territory and now has 60 active and regular players, not only in training but also in competition.

The 8 French pairs in padel armchair

The realization of a “Masters” tournament naturally imposed itself to close this year 2022 by bringing together the 8 best French pairs.

All from the world of wheelchair tennis, some of them with very fine international records and careers, French players have become "aficionados" of the padel armchair . Spectators will be able to admire the performances of Laurent Giammartini (55), multiple world champion and multiple Paralympic medalist in wheelchair tennis. With his young partner of 24 years old Dorian Navarro, Laurent engages with pleasure in this new sporting adventure by forming the Team Padel 06 (PACA League)

In addition to Laurent and Dorian, the favorites of these Masters are undoubtedly the French number 1 Sébastien Husser (Ligue Grand Est) and Nicolas Vanlerberghe (Ligue Hauts-de-France) whose complementarity is undeniable... They announced the color by baptizing their team the Touch'Team.

Very nice matches to see with teams of outsiders producing a lot of play and being able to create surprise!
