Padel EKWALIS is launched at full speed in the padel reunion. With its two fields, it is the second club to embark on the padel on the island of Reunion. But it is also the first to have two fields of padel.

Le padel is a sport in full expansion in France. Until today, there was only one padel on Reunion Island at the AKOYA Hotel.

Mickael Grenier one of the founders of Padel EKWALIS explains:

“Our project is to help people discover and develop this sport in Réunion. We therefore took the initiative to install two padel on a sports site with more than 2000 members or all sports are grouped together. This sports center is called EKWALIS. ”

PADEL EKWALIS is therefore the first club of Padel on Reunion Island.

The official opening of this club took place on October 14 2017.

The objectives of the project:

  • Make discover the padel in the meeting
  • Develop the padel on the island
  • Set up throughout the season of leisure tournaments then approved later
  • Propose a Reunionese championship of Padel
  • Open a school of padel
  • Have a team of padel Reunion for the French championships

Mickael returns to his analysis around the padel in the meeting :

“The passion for this sport drives us to have long-term goals“ We hope, in the years to come, that other clubs from Padel will emerge so that our goals can be achieved. ”
