This is THE news of this beginning of the week in the padel professional: Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno have decided to separate.

Those who had finished perfectly last season had a little more trouble this year. The Argentinian and the Spaniard, who always formed the third pair of the World Padel Tour and the second of Premier Padel, have chosen to end their collaboration due to results below their expectations. Indeed, the two men who won “only” two tournaments in 2022 (the WPT Vigo Open and the Premier Padel Qatar Major) had been chasing a title for more than six months… Enough to lead to the separation of the duo.

We will therefore no longer see Paquito and Martin together on the track after the WPT Santander Open. On the other hand, the two players have every intention of remaining friends in life.

As he has said in a Facebook post, the Andalusian retains a very special affection for the one who will be his ex-partner in a few days. Translated excerpts: “When we decided to play together I knew we could do great things, but I never expected to meet such an extraordinary person. (…) I wish you the best in your new stage. I'm always happy when the right people are doing well, and you're one of them. Thank you Martin for everything you gave me and everything I learned thanks to you.”
