La French Tennis Federation is very clear on this point: NO, a player cannot be registered for two tournaments taking place at the same time.

This ban was put in place because players were registering for two tournaments and waiting for the tables of events to be known to go to the one that seemed to be the most interesting in terms of points and opportunities for them. Sometimes, some began to compete in an event (for example a P1000) and, in the event of defeat, fell back on another tournament (P500 or 250) or withdrew in the event of victory.

Consequences: a fed up of injured clubs and competitors.

The FFT has therefore decided to forbid players to register for two tournaments simultaneously.

Consequently, a player forced to forfeit one of the two tournaments in which he is registered risks disciplinary sanctions.

The referee of the tournament can establish, in this case, a "Penalty sheet" which he will send to the Regional Committee for Sports Disputes of the league in which the tournament took place. Therefore, beware of “overbooking”!
