Jérémy Scatena, founder of 100% Padel, track manufacturer padel, dwells on the differences between outdoor and indoor tracks.

Indoor tracks: no external constraints

For indoor pitches, the quality of the structure is less important because the pitch will not be subject to external constraints.

You can set up full panoramic terrain in complete safety. The installation of a lawn without sand is preferred.

Outdoor slopes: favor the modular framework

The quality of the structure of the outdoor pitch is essential, it is advisable to install a pitch in a modular frame.

These lands are composed of two posts at the junctions of the panes, which means that each pane rests on two posts. This is the difference with the grounds called pylons (or posts) where, at the junction of two windows, you have only one post.

The resistance of the ground is measured using a calculation note corresponding to its resistance to the wind. It is not recommended to install full panoramic pitches outdoors in areas with high winds.
