While the qualifying rounds are in full swing in Riyadh, the men's and women's final draw has just been released, revealing the first posters !

At men's, 16 seeds will only enter the second round. As we announced, the number 1 seed will be the pair Lebron / Galan. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia will form seed 2. Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno complete the podium as seed 3.

For the 32nd finals, we will be able to see the brand new pairs evolve, like Chingotto/Gonzalez, Yanguas/Garrido, Belasteguin/Capra and of course, Navarro/Gutierrez.

Note, however, the absence of Tino Libaak and Leo Augsburger, out of the first round of previa. The two Argentinians were eliminated by the Huete/Garcia pair and posted a major underperformance…

In women, it is the last dance of Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega, also leading to the last tournament of several pairs. No pair will be exempt from the first round since all teams will return from the 32nd.

Note that if the hierarchy is respected, we should have a big shock, from the semi-finals, with a possible meeting Ortega/Triay vs. Gonzalez/Brea, at the bottom of the table. At the top, we should end up with a Josemaria/Sanchez against Salazar/Icardo.

Concerning the only Frenchwoman competing in the final table, Alix Collombon and his partner amanda girdo will face Ariadna Cañellas (55) and Teresa Navarro (36)! A match that promises to be close because both pairs are ranked 22 et 23 in this tournament.

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
