We were able to attend this Monday morning at the start of the competition of our French women. Unfortunately for them, only a pair managed to walk away with the victory in the first round of preprevias.

Here is a short summary of this second day of competitions for our French players.

Laura Clergue – Fiona Ligi

Those are Laura Clergue and his partner Fiona Ligi who came into contention for the first game of the day. Playing on central 4 Padel from Toulouse Colomiers the two tricolors were opposed to the Andalusians Lucia Perez Para and Lorena Vano.
After a hung first set, the Spaniards took place in the second set.

They bow on a final score of 6/4 – 6/0.

Melissa Martin – Amélie Detriviere

On track number 2 it was the turn of Melissa Martin and Amélie Detriviere to make their entrance to try to win their ticket for the second round of these pre-previas against Cristina González (111st) and Margarida Fernandes (103nd)
Despite a solid level of play, Amélie and Mélissa had a set point in the first set but they finally bowed in a close match. Final score: 7/6 (3) – 7/5.

Jessica Ginier – Lucile Pothier

Finally on court number 5 it is on the shoulders of Lucile Pothier and Jessica Ginier that all our hopes rested. opposed to Marina Pinacho (80st) and Carlotta Casali (69th) the French women gave everything during this meeting. After two very tight rounds, the French were unrivaled in the last act to offer themselves an entry ticket for the second round of preprevias this afternoon.

Final score: 6/4 - 4/6 - 6/1

They will face tonight from 18 p.m. Agueda Perez Ortiz (00nd) and Amanda Lopez Moral (152nd).
