The first Pro event Padel League 2024 in Miami ended yesterday with the final victory of Miami Padel Club led by the world number ones on the circuit Premier Padel : Ari Sanchez and Agustin Tapia.

A one-way finish

The final began with the women's match between Ari Sanchez and Marta Talavan for Miami Padel Club to Marta Ortega and Alejandra Alonso de Villa for the Las Vegas Smash. Under a blazing sun, the members of the Florida team brought the first point at the end of a solid performance: 7/6 – 6/3.

In the process, Agustin Tapia and Jon Sanz had to finish the job against Gonzalo Alfonso and Pablo Cardona. The defending champions were struggling against the power of Mozart de Catamarca who multiplied the winning points. Tapia and Sanz logically win 6/3 – 6/3 and offer the title to Miami Padel Club on its land.

The New York Atlantics at the foot of the podium

Just before the Floridians' consecration, the New York Atlantics took third place in the competition at the expense of the Toronto Polar Bears. A success initially implemented by ex-partners Tamara Icardo and Viriginia Riera against Iglesias/Guinart (6/4 – 6/4). Then Lucas Campagnolo and Ramiro Moyano played against Coki Nieto and Javier Barahona (6/1 – 6/2) to obtain the bronze medal.
