This Saturday the qualifying phases of the Premier Padel Qatar Major in which three French women played: Carla Toully, Wendy Barsotti et Elodie Invernon.

Unfortunately for Carla and Wendy, the Qatari adventure ends today. Associated with the Portuguese Fernandes, Touly will not have succeeded in entering the competition. Both players lost to the 100% Dutch pair Koek / Weterings (seeded 4) with a score of 6/2 – 6/1. Wendy, for her part, had to fight alongside Van Der Hoek against the Spanish Carla Castillo Velarde et Lucia Perralta Exposito. Despite a good start to the match, the Franco-Spanish pair lost 3/6 – 6/1 – 6/3.

A little later in the day it was the turn ofElodie Invernon to enter the track. Associated with Santos Domingos, the two players had difficulty starting the game. They scare each other during the first set but mentally manage to reset the counters to zero during the second round. Finally, it was after an abandonment on the part of their opponents that the Franco-Portuguese pair won a victory and a ticket for the next stage. The pair Invernon / Santos Domingos imposes itself 2 / 6 - 7 / 6 - 4 / 0. This Sunday they will face the Spanish pair Saiz / Merino.

Two other French players will make their debut on the 20×10 in Doha. It is Alix Collombon and Jessica Ginier. They will have to face Carolina Gallo and Fatma Al Nabhani.
