  1. The power. The great debate of the players of padel lies in the force to be applied during strikes. You have to know what power to put in a particular situation. You won't be able to hit the same blow with equal force. Everything will depend on your position on the field, if you are well placed in relation to the ball, etc. It is important to have as much control as possible with each strike you make, the power will come later. The only time to really put in power is when you take out the ball to finish the point, but with the right ball, that is to say not at all times.
  1. Planning. You don't have to come into the field without having a tactic prepared (and a Plan B in case of failure). Improvisation is not in the vocabulary of a padel. In case you don't know your opponents, focus on your game, and your goals.
  1. The position. THE padel is an opponent's checking sport, and your positioning is an integral part of your playing tactics which will determine whether you win or lose. If you hit in the right area, put your opponents in trouble, but behind you are out of position, you will be countered. Your opponents will have won the tactical battle. For example, not staying at the back of the court after a serve.
  1. The displacement of the pair. Your movement must be done in relation to your opponents, to the position of the ball on the field, and in relation to your partner. This last aspect is essential. You must accompany your partner on his travels to cover the maximum angle. For example, he is completely offset to one side and he has to hit the ball against the grid, you have to come and place yourself in the center of the field. The center must always be defended!
  1. Predictability of the game. You must tactically have a game that the opponent will have trouble deciphering. If it's all too easy to know what you're going to do, you'll be in a bad position. To remedy this, break the rhythm of the game, change tactics (not totally, especially, if it works, but adapt it), etc.
