Sanyo Gutierrez spoke at the microphone of Padel Magazine time to talk with us about his sporting goals. The “Mago de San Luis” does not mince his words and intends to give the best of himself to win as many titles as possible this season. Finalists at the last WPT Cascais, the Argentinian and his partner will give everything to win the title in Stockholm.

“Make my sports career last as long as possible”

"It is true that this part of the globe makes us feel good. Last year we won the Malmö Open. This year we emerged victorious in Copenhagen. Today we feel comfortable. For me, Agustin had a great game. We managed to stay focused and we implemented a good tactic to overcome our rivals. "

In view of the increasingly young average age and the frantic pace that the players are undergoing at the moment with one tournament per week, we wanted to know how the Argentinian was feeling physically.

"I feel good physically and I will continue to take care of myself to make my sporting career last as long as possible."

“We come here for the title”

“I'm not going to lie to you, with the season we're having at the moment, I can't tell you that we come with the aim of improving […]. This was true at the beginning of our association with Agustin but today it is different and we want to win the title in every tournament we play.

“I feel Agustin is very happy and when he's like that, it's dangerous for our opponents (laughs). Above all, I see him very focused and very mature with the desire to progress and that's the most important thing”.

Tonight the Argentinian duo will face in the quarter-finals a revanchist pair composed of Fernando Belasteguin and Arturo Coello.
