For its first edition, the P1000 of the Lyon club TCM5 offered some fine winners: Loïc Lepanse and Jose Luis Lara Salines.

Once again, you had to have your Spanish to win a P1000. This time, Salines was associated with Parisian Loïs Lepanse. A pair who wanted to clear things up after their rout last week at the My Padel Tour of the BIG IV in Valenciennes.

From the beginning of the competition, we felt the Franco-Spanish pair ready to fight. She was part of Blanqué / Bergeron and Gauthier / Morillon of the three favorite pairs of the tournament. Although Corbelli / Bensadoun and Authier / Vinciguerra, Miotto / Levrad, Taboni / Chavrier were also pairs to be wary of.

Bergeron / Blanqué says goodbye to his 5e consecutive title

Things really started in the semi-finals for the favorites of the competition with this explosive semi-final between Bergeron / Blanqué, the last winners of the BIG IV P1000 and the Salines / Lepanse pair.

Unfortunately the French pair struggled to deliver their best match in this match with ups and downs. In front of her, a regular pair throughout the match with some decisive shots on the match. With an entry break that Salines / Lepanse will hold until the end of the 1er set and another break at the end of the second set, the Franco-Spanish pair wins this half logically on the score of 6 / 4 6 / 4.

After 4 consecutive wins in a P1000, the beautiful series of French stops there.

Moreau alone against all

The other semifinal is a bit special. We had to have a semi-final between Morillon / Gauthier and Moreau / Lopes, but it had to be replaced by the lucky loser Levrad / Miotto.

In the quarterfinals, Maxime Moreau falls on the ankle of Justin Lopes. Appraisal: A nice sprain. It will take a great Maxime Moreau to cover almost the entire field and win this match and an attentive Lopes to catch the balls on the fly. Frustrating and confusing match for Levrad / Miotto who had lost their game and who will lose in 3 sets.

In the semifinal, against Miotto / Levrad, Gauthier / Morillon is above despite a nice fight of the Lyon pair.

1st victory for Lepanse / Salines

In the final, Salines / Lepanse is the favorite pair of the match. Yet Morillon / Gauthier will deliver a very good match.

The French pair breake quickly in this 1er set but will not manage to hold it to the end. The French will be joined at 5 everywhere. Morillon / Gauthier however delivers his best set of the competition by playing match with the pair Salines / Lepanse.

On the wire, at the tie-break, Salines / Lepanse raises their level of play to win this 1er set.

In the second set, Lepanse unrolls with his big smashes and his quality on the fly while Salines despite some flashes and hits from another world seems to blame the blow due to the strong heat on the ground. But on the ground everyone is touched by this heavy sun.

Morillon / Gauthier will make a few more mistakes, will be a little less accurate allowing favorites to pocket their first P1000 together.

Salines / Lepanse wins the 1st edition of the TCM5 Open. It's about the " 1st cup brought back to Casa Padel "Concludes Loïc Lepanse, sports manager of the famous Parisian club.
