While the initial plan was to go up to 15, the Comex of the FFT decided that the 12 best results will be taken into account for the calculation of the classification in France. We will reach this figure with the next update in April 2023 and it should remain so from now on.
The Comex made this change after studying a proposal for readjustment based on the competition offer which is still too disparate and unequal on the territory, as well as the financial costs that travel involves for the players.
The FFT also announced that the creation of P1500 category tournaments and the creation of new scales taking into account the number of pairs appearing in the table were approved.
