Finalists last week in Madrid, Ale Ruiz and Momo Gonzalez are in good shape! The “Malagueños” dominated Agustin Tapia and Sanyo Gutiérrez in the semi-finals this Friday evening in Amsterdam.

In another three-set match, Ale and Momo beat the odds against the tournament's No. 2 seed.

Although they won fewer points than the Argentines, the Spaniards were much more solid when needed, as evidenced by the decisive 8 points won out of 10. After losing the first set, Momo and Ale went back to coal to win a hotly contested match, which lasted 2h30.

Eliminated in the first round last week, Agustin Tapia and Sanyo Gutiérrez are going through a bad patch, quite the opposite of their opponents of the day!

Tomorrow, Ruiz and Gonzalez will face either their executioners of last week, Arturo Coello and Fernando Belasteguin, or Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno!
