Decidedly, it was an evening of fights that took place yesterday at the Bajo Aragon Challenger! After the marathon won by Barbara Las Heras and Veronica Virseda, it was Jon Sanz and Miguel Lamperti who made an incredible comeback!

Indeed, dominated in the first set by Pincho Fernandez and José Diestro, the Argentinian and the Spaniard were forced to take the service of their opponents while the scoreboard announced 6/4 5/4 against them. More precise at the end of the second set, Miguel and Jon managed to pull off a tie-break.

And while trailing 4/0 in the tiebreak, they once again played their best padel at the best time to pick up a sleeve everywhere. Annoyed at not having been able to conclude, Diestro and Fernandez conceded a quick break in the third set, which they would never manage to recover… Final score: 4/6 7/6 6/4.

Lamperti and Sanz offer themselves a new final in a Challenger this season. It will be against Miguel Yanguas and Coki Nieto, who were intractable against Leal / Rico (6/3 6/0).
