We announced to you these last days several pairs separating on the WPT. But this one, we did not expect it in view of the good results of these two players since the start of the season!

Our French number one is therefore separating from its Spanish partner. It was a great story between Teo and Ben, now another chapter will open.

Teodoro Zapata received the opportunity to evolve with another higher ranked player and he took it! But don't worry, Benjamin Tison has also been able to find another good partner. Tomorrow he will announce the name of the one with whom he wants to build a competitive pair at home in Barcelona.

The Marbella tournament will therefore be the last of the Tison / Zapata pair.

As he announced on Facebook, Benjamin wishes Teo the best for the future. Breaking up a pair doesn't happen all the time when things go wrong (although it often does). Sometimes opportunities arise and must be seized at the right time: this is the case for Teodoro. These two players who appreciate each other a lot will have achieved great stages together, going from preprevias to a final table of a WPT!

Despite this change of partner, the Frenchman's objectives remain the same: to continue to move forward and to get ever closer to the main tables of the World Padel Tour !
